Did you buy all of the previous items? If so, how does it compare? Would you say paying for a lot of the material again was worth it? Why on earth is there not a discount for this product if we've already bought pact magic unbound? I'm not paying 50 canadian for an update on a product I already own. I agree so much. I have all four of the Pact Magic books Vol 1, Vol 2, Villains, and Secrets and now they want full price from me for the update?
I get that they deserve to be compensated for the work they have done. I'm not against that. But this isn't a new book for me, it's a supplement to give me the updates to books I already own. I will be mad if I have to pay full price. I guess I will watch to see if it goes on sale at some point and decide then. As the guy who wrote it, believe me. Everything was rewritten basically from scratch.
Everything was updated and reorganized. New bits were added pretty much everywhere. This is not "just an update. I wouldn't count on a sale any time soon. Personally, I wouldn't be mad, because in my opinion this is as different from all of the books you own as the Pathfinder RPG Core Rulebook is from the 3.
