Either way, I would probably uninstall Panda software completely, reboot the system and see if that helps. You could install it again afterwards, of course. Can you create a new profile in addition to the existing one and report back if you can download anything with that one? Reinstalling Firefox almost never fixes issues, since any responsible settings reside in a profile that will be reused automatically. Also and perhaps first try choosing No proxy in Firefox's connection settings if anything else is currently selected to see if that helps.

It is possible that security software anti-virus, firewall is causing the problem. Try to disable security software temporarily to see if that makes a difference. Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support press F8 on the boot screen or hold down the Shift key to see if that has effect. Internet security software, including firewalls , antivirus programs, anti-spyware programs, and others can block certain file downloads. Check the settings in your security software to see if there is an setting that may be blocking downloads.

To diagnose whether Internet security software is causing problems, you can try temporarily disabling it, seeing if downloads work, and then re-enabling the software. Please help me I don't know what is wrong with it I'm using this browser first time please help.

Please first check all the settings in firefox tools then check for the plug ins installed in your download manager also clean the temporary files I mean delete all the temporary files and history. But if it does not work even then try un installing and then re installing the fire fox browser hope it will help you.
